The challenge at hand is to craft a mobile app redesign for Satang that surpasses competitors and ensures user reliability and familiarity. By blending innovation and user-centric design, I will create an exceptional experience that sets a new standard of excellence in the Thai cryptocurrency market. With a focus on seamless functionality, reliability, and a touch of familiarity for Binance users, the Satang mobile app redesign will captivate users with its sleek and intuitive interface. The design approach for the Satang Pro app focuses on delivering a seamless and user-friendly trading experience while prioritizing security, privacy, and regulatory compliance. By putting the user at the center, incorporating visually appealing branding, implementing robust security measures, and optimizing for multiple platforms, the app aims to streamline the trading process and empower users to make informed decisions. Through iterative design and continuous improvement, Satang Pro aims to provide a secure, intuitive, and trustworthy platform for individuals to trade cryptocurrencies in Thailand.

THE DISCOVERY

Customer Insights

To inform our planning phase, we did market and customer research. These are the main ideas that guided the creation of the product's launch version.

Insight 1

According to a survey, eighty percent of Satang users would rather trade on a platform with a Binance-like UI because they believe it to be more secure.

Insight 2

Blue is the color of trust, thus Satang users expect to see it in the UI. Additionally, they hope that the app's Know Your Customer (KYC) and registration processes will be less cumbersome than before.

Insight 3

Users are resistant to radical shifts in UX, particularly those that increase the number of clicks or taps required to do even the simplest of tasks.

Insight 4

70 percent of iOS app users prefer the dark mode to reduce eye strain.

Insight 5

Users are demanding quick improvements to website load times and an end to frequent, unannounced downtimes for system maintenance.

Insight 6

Users expect that the Know Your Customer (KYC) process will be completed rapidly so that they can begin trading on the exchange as soon as possible.
